TrackVia views are a great way to cut down the amount of information we want to see quickly. First things first, our Knowledge Base has some great information on how to create the view and charts in. You can find them here:
Views can display our relevant data as a grid, a sum, or even a graph or chart depending on how we want to view a data. Sometimes combining these various view formats is a great way to see the same data. Below are some examples of these types of views and charts.
For example, let’s say you have a product management app where you buy products from various companies. Now that you’ve created a view with the records you want to analyze, you’ll want to determine how you want to display the information.
You can create a summary view to see the quantity of products you receive from a particular company. Summary views are a great way to aggregate your data quickly and easily.
Here’s a view displayed as a bar chart: move visual appearance over a grid or summary view:
This view is displayed as a pie chart: visual representation of the data in terms of composition.
All of these views are built from the same table, using the same fields and represent the same data; but you can see how different the data is being displayed to give you different perspectives. You can then place all of these of views on a single dashboard for your users to quickly analyze this information to make business decisions.
