Chris Basham, President

Chris Basham is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Trackvia. In this role, he oversees the day-to-day operations of Trackvia and is responsible for driving the overall business and company objectives forward.

Prior to Trackvia, Basham was the CEO and Co-Founder of OTO Software, a company that makes consumer Wi-Fi security products sold in 3500 retailers nationwide. Basham also served as the COO of Posita Power Technologies (acquired by Genscape, Inc. in 2002), a company that develops technology to remotely monitor the national power grid. In addition, Basham co-founded and served as COO of Applied HR, Inc., a consulting company that performed implementations of the HR module of the Oracle ERP system. Basham spent the early part of his career in the U.S. Navy as an officer in naval aviation. Basham holds a master’s degree in business administration from the McCombs School at the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. Chris has completed 5 marathons.

Matt McAdams, Chief Technology Officer

As the Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of Trackvia, Matt McAdams is responsible for developing and driving product development and overall strategy. McAdams founded Trackvia in 2005 with the vision of offering businesses a one-stop shop for storing and managing data online.

Prior to Trackvia, McAdams was the CEO of two successful software startups that he grew from concept stage to acquisition by larger companies. McAdams also served as the Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at a $180 million software company and was a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group. McAdams holds a doctorate in Physics from the California Institute of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Harvey Mudd College. Matt has completed 3 Ironman triathlons.

Moon Lee, Chief Software Architect

Moon Lee is a 10-year software veteran of several Director- and VP-level application development positions. Lee has created a variety of large database and web-based applications, enterprise infrastructure software, monitoring tools, and reporting and graphing tools. Lee achieved high honors at Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School. Moon recently spent a year studying martial arts full time in Beijing, China.

Scott Caruso, Director

Mr. Caruso joined Trackvia's Board of Directors in 2008. He brings to the board over twenty years of software, networking, and Internet industry experience as an angel investor, entrepreneur, and engineering professional. Scott has also been a founder and executive of two successful start-up companies. He co-founded Compute Intensive (now NTT/Verio) with former colleagues from SUN Microsystems. Prior to founding HotSpare and Compute Intensive, Scott spent 5 years as a systems engineer and sales support engineer at SUN Microsystems from 1989-1994, and participated in the dramatic growth of that company along with the growth of the entire computer networking industry. Scott holds a BS and a minor in Computer Science from New Mexico State University.

Trevor Loy, Director

Mr. Loy founded Flywheel Ventures in Silicon Valley in 1999 and established the firm‘s current headquarters in Santa Fe in 2000. During his career as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Trevor has led the growth of more than 20 technology ventures. His specific experience includes roles with ventures such as Brooktree (now, via acquisition, part of Conexant Systems); Gigabeat (backed by the venture firm Kleiner Perkins and now, via acquisition, part of Roxio); Intel Corporation (where he managed a team of designers working on portions of the Pentium™ and Pentium II™ microprocessors and won the Intel Quality Award for his innovations in the semiconductor manufacturing process); ParkingNet; Teradyne; and Visio (now, via acquisition, part of Microsoft). Mr. Loy holds an MS in Management Science and Engineering, an MS in Electrical Engineering, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Chris Vogelsang, Director

Chris Vogelsang attended the US Air Force Academy and holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota. He is currently a principal at Ordonez and Vogelsang, a transportation planning consulting firm in Denver, CO. His prior experience with web technology companies includes roles with ActiveParks (a division of Active.com the largest participatory sports registration site on the web), and GHX.com (a B2B exchange for healthcare providers and suppliers). Chris was Colorado State mountain bike champion in 2002 and guided an ESPN camera crew on a rock climbing expedition to the top of Devil's Tower, WY to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first ascent.
