Happy Holidays from your friends at Trackvia! Whether you're already a paying customer, or still in the process of deciding if Trackvia is the solution you're looking for, we're glad to have the opportunity to work with you.

While we often use our newsletter to highlight our new and/or upcoming features, we thought that the end of the year might be a good time to focus on our great existing features, and help you find new ways to use your Trackvia account with the great features that are available today.

So, please read through this newsletter, and I'll bet you find at least a couple of great things that Trackvia does that you weren't already aware of. And please pick up the phone and call us, or shoot us an email, and we'll help you set up any or all of the new features that you want to try out. We'd love to hear from you!

Highlighted Features

Account Personalization

While we love the look of our company logo, we suspect that you'd prefer to see your own company logo when you're logged in to your Trackvia account. Just email us a copy of your logo (support@trackvia.com) and we'll upload it into your account within a day! We can also customize the Welcome message that appears in your account with whatever wording you'd like to see there.

What is the Default Report?...

Each database that you build in Trackvia has a "database overview" page that's like the home page for that database. To ensure that you can see your data when you're on the database overview page, we place what we call the Default Report on your database overview page. However, the default report is likely not the best report to have on your database overview page, as it is often so wide that some of the links you need to click are way off the right side of your monitor. So, we encourage you to remove the Default Report from your database overview page, and build another, customized report (or reports!) that will appear on your database overview page. It takes only a minute or two for the whole process, and you'll end up much happier with your database overview page.

Over time, you'll get fancier and more sophisticated with the reports on your database overview page. You'll build customized reports that show all new records received by website form, all sales leads updated in the last day, all closed deals within the last week - the options are limitless!

Trackvia as a Recruiting Solution

To grow your business, you have to take some time away from operations to hire good people to help you out. Trackvia is actually a great recruiting solution that provides all of the features you need to post your openings on your website, gather applications, resumes and cover letters via website forms and/or email, track and reply to applicants, and help you "workflow" your candidates all of the way through the process. As an online application, Trackvia is inherently good at collaboration, as well. You can provide your recruiters, HR department, and others with appropriate permission levels to help you manage your pool of job applicants to ensure you make the right hire, and that you treat all of your applicants professionally.

There are plenty of other website form builders out there, but they offer only a partial solution. They allow you to create website forms so that your website visitors can send you information. But they don't help you organize or track the information that you gather.

Email Campaigns

Trackvia is a CRM that allows you to send email campaigns to your contacts from the same app you use to manage and track their status! Don't use one app to manage your contacts, and a separate app to send email campaigns to them - you'll find yourself constantly doing exports and uploads into a separate tool, which means you quickly lose track of which emails you've sent to which records, and who's opted out. Trackvia solves this problem by letting you send email campaigns using the same great solution you use to manage your contacts.

Administrative Updates

Blocking Sharing of Login Info

We'll soon start enforcing our Terms of Service that prohibit the sharing of login info (username and password) among more than one individual. So, if you're not currently complying with this rule, please plan ahead and sign up all of your users for their own usernames and passwords. This will prevent any frustration among your users once the change is enacted. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@trackvia.com. Don't worry, we won't chastise anyone who contacts us and isn't in compliance - we're glad to work with you to get your account set up the right way.

Email Campaign Pricing

We didn't do a great job previously of explaining the pricing of email campaigns sent out of Trackvia. So, here's some simpler wording: email campaigns are charged at one penny per email sent, with a minimum charge of $1 per email campaign.
