TrackVia Introduces Online Database Application

TrackVia, provider of an innovative online database application, announced the launch of its Web-based database platform to help organizations better track and collaborate on their business critical data, yesterday. "We are coming out of stealth mode," Matt McAdams, the company's co-founder and CTO told 5 Minute Briefing. "We have been working with customers for a year." TrackVia's application offers on-demand, online access. It is geared to small- and medium-sized businesses as well as project teams of larger organizations who are looking for an online application to better manage their data. "It is a virtual database that is almost as fast as Excel," McAdams said.

TrackVia is intended to replace spreadsheets and desktop databases to manage data online. An easy and flexible online database application, it gives organizations greater control, visibility and accuracy of their data through features such as the ability to manage mailing lists, clients and contacts; organize assets, inventory, locations or partners; sort and filter information; create custom reports, and share data in real-time.

"Access and Filemaker are too complex," McAdams said. TrackVia combines the power of a database with Web-based features in one solution. Key features include Google-like search, formatted and filtered views, report distribution, permissions-based access, support of self-service Web-based forms and multi-user access. TrackVia is available on a monthly subscription basis.
