Matt McAdams, Chief Executive Officer

 

McAdams is one of the foremost strategic and technical visionaries behind Web 2.0 and Cloud-based solutions. Before founding TrackVia, McAdams held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Senware, Inc., an enterprise software firm focused on delivering software tools to assist database administrators in optimizing the management and maintenance of their Oracle database portfolios. Allen Systems Group acquired Senware in 2004. Prior to Senware, McAdams was the Chief Executive Officer and founder of LeagueLink, the pre-eminent Software-as-a-Service solution for managing and administering recreational sports leagues. The Active Network acquired LeagueLink in 2000, after which McAdams became The Active Network’s Chief Technology Officer. McAdams’ unique combination of technical expertise, business savvy, and strategic vision were honed earlier in his career while at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and California Institute of Technology (Caltech), where he earned a PhD in Physics. McAdams also earned a MS in Physics from the University of Illinois and a BS in Physics from Harvey Mudd College.

 

 

Mark Goines, Chairman

 

Goines is actively engaged with the executive management team, providing both strategic and tactical insight into how to most effectively grow and scale TrackVia’s cloud database platform. Earlier in his career, Goines served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer Division of Intuit, which included the Quicken, Quicken.com, Quicken Insurance, and Quicken Mortgage offerings. Goines was also Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder of PassMark Security, an advanced authentication services provider acquired by RSA in 2006. In addition to his role as TrackVia Chairman, Goines is an active technology investor with investments and board positions in ventures that include Mint.com (acquired by Intuit in 2009), Credit Interlink, Nolo.com, and Quantal International. Goines also served as President of the Los Altos Educational Foundation and is a trustee of the Los Altos School Board in Northern California. Goines earned both a MBA and a BS from the University of California Berkeley.

 

 

Chris Basham, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Security Officer

 

Basham has been on the forefront of innovations in Internet security and services-based enterprise software solutions. Just prior to founding TrackVia, Basham was Chief Executive Officer and founder of OTO Software, a leader in delivering security solutions for wireless networks. Through Basham’s leadership, OTO’s flagship product, Wi-Fi Defense became one of the world’s most widely distributed wireless network security solutions, with customers in more than 35 countries, spanning the Fortune 500 to small emerging companies. Earlier, Basham was Chief Operating Officer at Posita Power Technologies. Posita developed enterprise software to remotely monitor high voltage transmission line performance data – critical inputs for making futures and derivatives decisions for many of the world’s leading energy traders. Basham began his professional career as a jet navigator in the United States Navy. Basham earned a MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BBA from the University of Oklahoma.

 

 

Jeff Santelices, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing

 

Prior to joining TrackVia, Santelices was Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Support at Hyperic, the world’s leading open-source systems monitoring solution for Software-as-a-Service, Web, and Cloud-based businesses. Santelices’ responsibilities included direct sales, strategic OEM and channel relationships, customer support and professional services. After joining forces in 2009 with SpringSource, the team behind the Spring java development framework, the companies were acquired by vmWare. Before Hyperic, Santelices was Vice President at Corio, one of the founding SaaS providers that coined the term "Applications on Demand". During his tenure, Santelices was instrumental in taking the company public, completing two strategic acquisitions, scaling the business through indirect channels, and establishing Corio’s brand. Following the acquisition of Corio by IBM in 2005, Santelices was named Strategy Director for IBM’s $7B Infrastructure Management Services business. Earlier, Santelices held management roles at Oracle and A.T. Kearney. Santelices earned both a MBA and BA from Northwestern University.
