Product Support Engineer We consider our Product Support Engineers to be our most valuable, and valued, employees. Providing outstanding product support is one of our key competitive advantages, and it takes an especially talented person to fill this position. If you have great interpersonal skills, excellent phone- and written-communication skills, and are adept in HTML and JavaScript, this is a position for you - especially if you never thought you'd be interested in a support position. Everyone in the company, including the founders, continues to participate in front-line customer support, and will work side-by-side with you to solve problems. In this position, you'll have great impact not only on our customers and prospects, but you'll also play a key role in shaping our product development and marketing strategy, as you analyze and convey the feedback you receive from customers. Your primary activities will be providing phone- and email-based support to our customers and prospects, as well as interacting with our product development and marketing teams. You'll need to quickly become proficient with TrackVia (the application) and be able to translate customers' descriptions of their processes into data models that fit well in TrackVia. As TrackVia's front-line representative to our customers and prospects, such intangibles such as problem-solving skills, analytical ability, good manners, good grammar, patience, and ability to "sell" are critical. The ideal candidate will have advanced familiarity with Excel and Access (or Filemaker), with HTML, and basic familiarity with JavaScript.
