The Sales Development Representative role offers an opportunity to work for TrackVia, an exciting, dynamic VC-funded startup delivering a Software-as-a-Service database solution and cloud-based application-building platform targeted towards business users. TrackVia is conveniently headquartered in Denver's LoDo district, steps away from Coors Field.

The Sales Development Rep will be responsible for lead generation activities that result in qualified leads for the TrackVia sales organization, and for upsells and new deal closure as directed by Territory Manager for assigned region.

Strong performers that deliver against their plans, and exhibit deep knowledge and insight into TrackVia's solution and customers, may be presented an opportunities to expand their roles within the TrackVia sales organization within 6-12 months.

    Responsibilities:
  • Perform research on targeted lead sources and companies in order to identify the account map and best point of contact.
  • Conduct campaigns via phone and/or email in order to qualify, develop, and cultivate leads for hand-off to Territory Management, within the following primary categories:
    • Conduct call and/or email campaigns for each Territory Manager to assist with their overflow inbound leads
    • Conduct call and/or email campaigns for each Territory Manager into their outbound targets
    • Conduct call and/or email campaigns as directed by Sales, Marketing, and Business Development, based upon program specific objectives, targets, and messaging
  • Document and track all activity through Salesforce, including lead/prospect data entry, detailed activity reports, setting tasks for follow-up.
  • Prepare and perform appropriate follow-up communications, sending of marketing and collateral materials to prospective clients.
  • Provide a weekly flash report to keep entire team updated on progress against various campaigns.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the TrackVia solution, and be able to strongly articulate our pitch, including overview of our key features and benefits, services offerings, differentiation, and competitive positioning.
  • Consistently improve personal product knowledge, industry knowledge and communication skills.
    Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of inside sales/telesales experience, preferably at an enterprise software company.
  • Superior phone skills with ability to maintain a high volume of outbound calls.
  • Self motivated and persistent with excellent follow through skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and effectively work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
